It is okay to not know where to start.

Health data and digital health are hard for everyone, not just you. The earlier you ask for support, the easier it gets.

Founded and staffed by clinicians, health data specialists, and digital health strategists.

We Hear You

The things people tell us in the first call.

Every one is a real sentence from a real conversation. You do not need to have it figured out. You just need someone to start with you.

“Our portal works. Nobody actually wants to use it.”
Frustrating. We'd start with the people using it.
“We know what we want to build. We just don't know where to start.”
Very common. We'd map the first step with you.
“We know we need interoperability, but we can't describe what our target should look like.”
Understandable. We'd define that target together.
“Half our records are still on paper or in PDFs.”
That's a real starting point. We'd make it usable.
“We have data other people want, and no idea how to do that safely.”
Right to be careful. We'd put the guardrails in first.
“We want to use AI on our data and we're not confident it's ready.”
Good instinct. We'd check readiness before anything else.
How We Help

Five ways in. Start wherever you're stuck.

Not a sequence. Where you are decides the way in.

What You Actually Get

How an engagement runs

Phase 1

Kickoff and goals

We start from what you want to achieve and agree what the engagement should produce, whether that's a written assessment, a strategy document, a working prototype, or a live integration.

Phase 2

Hands-on work

Our clinicians, strategists, designers, and data and engineering specialists do the actual work, and it doesn't stop at analysis or advice. Depending on the pillar, that means reviewing what exists, designing what's needed, and then building it: cleaning and connecting data, standing up an integration, or turning a strategy into something running rather than leaving it as a document.

Phase 3

Delivery and walkthrough

You get the output itself, whether that's a working system, a live integration, or a report your team can act on, and a session to walk your team through it. Then it's yours.

Duration depends on the pillar and the scope. A Health Data Foundations assessment typically runs about four weeks; other engagements are scoped once we understand the goal and the starting point.

One Goal

Healthcare that works the way it should.

Without friction. For patients and the people caring for them.

Why Jonda Health

A team that has sat on every side of the table.

Clinical practice in mature and emerging markets, medical technology, digital innovation, and AI/ML engineering, with experience spanning digital health startups, big pharma, research, and pathology. That is why we start with where you actually are, not where we think you should be.

Delivery at every scale.

Digital health startups, enterprise health data projects, clinical research, and innovation programmes across healthcare.

Advice from practice, not theory.

We recommend what we have seen work in real clinics, real systems, and real markets.

Honest about fit.

If we are not the right answer, we say so and point you to who is.

Common Questions

Straight answers. No fluff.

Real questions from teams we speak with. If yours is not here, ask us directly.

01Do I need to start with a specific pillar?
No. These are five ways in, not a sequence. If you already know it's a data problem, a strategy question, or something else entirely, we start there. If you're not sure, tell us what isn't working and we'll help you work out where to begin.
02If data is handled during our data engagement, how is it handled?
We have navigated privacy frameworks across many markets, from HIPAA, GDPR and PDPA to Asian and African national laws, and we are ISO 27001 certified. Where an engagement allows it, we work with pseudonymised data, and everyone who reviews clinical data is a Jonda Health employee, not an outsourced contractor.
03What if part of what we need is outside what you do?
We will tell you. If part of your project sits outside our work, we will say so early and introduce you to someone who does it well.
04How long does an engagement take?
It depends on the pillar and the scope. A Health Data Foundations assessment typically runs about four weeks; other engagements are scoped once we understand the goal and the starting point.
05Do we get a plan, or just findings?
Depends on what's agreed in scope. Every engagement gives you a plan, something that maps where you are against where you're trying to get to, with a prioritized path to close the gap, with us or without us. Where implementation is part of the scope, we build it as well, rather than only handing over recommendations.
06Do you design and build the experience yourselves, or just advise on it?
We do the design work directly, the workflows, journeys, and touchpoints between patients, clinicians, and staff, rather than handing you recommendations to implement on your own.
07What do we actually get from a strategy engagement?
A clear, written direction: what to build, why, and what it will take, grounded in your actual goals rather than a generic framework. Not a hundred-page deck, something your team can act on.
08Can you handle historical data and migration projects?
Yes, this is the heart of our data transformation work. Records in PDFs, scans and legacy systems are cleaned, clinically reviewed and mapped to the standards your systems need. When you move to a new system, your history moves with you.
09Can you de-identify data for research or secondary use?
Yes. De-identification removes the details that link a record to a person; pseudonymisation replaces them with a code so records can still be connected without revealing who they belong to. HIPAA and GDPR require one or the other before health data is used for research, shared with partners, or otherwise used beyond care. We prepare data to that standard as part of a Health Data Foundations or Data Sourcing engagement.
10Can you build things like chatbots or AI-assisted workflows, or is this just data pipelines?
Both. This pillar covers workflow and operational automation broadly, AI-enabled processes included, not only the data pipelines that connect your systems.
11How does data sourcing work, and is it safe?
Whether you need data you don't hold, or want to responsibly place data you do hold, we manage consent and de-identification to the standard HIPAA and GDPR require, so nothing moves without the right safeguards in place.

You don't need to have it figured out to reach out.

The first step isn't knowing the answer. It's talking to someone who's helped people find it before.
